No Other Option...

There's a certain feeling (fear) thats evoked when you graduate. For me anyways, knowing you will succeed is the first step, being comfortable in the knowledge that success is the only option helps everything else fall in to place.

Be the best that you can be. There really is no other option!

I envy those lucky enough to live in endless short season. There's something about shorts which just seem so effortless, find a bright, printed amazing pair of shorts like any of these and throw on a simple tee and you automatically have a winning outfit. Bold prints and colours such as these seem to come alive when the suns out. If only Manchester would just brighten up its act. Holding my breath on this one may not be my wisest move.

Beach Days

This is to all those going to Hideout festival next week. Its not a summer without sand soaked skin and blue oceans, I love this cover for Vogue Paris. I do hope for the fella's sakes that the beaches are drenched in girls like this! You can only hope!!

Hope all my babies have an amazing time! xxx

Who Needs Gucci?

I have an addiction for finding bargains, even better, finding something I know no one will have so this post is both tied in to one. I feel guilty admitting that these Gucci inspired, caged, to die for heels are in fact no other than Primark. I hadn't step foot in there for so long as I dread the hordes of people moving at a pace slower than a tired snail however holidays were approaching and I needed the essentials which they do so well (towels, underwear, pjs etc etc). I contemplated leaving without these but for a mere £12 I almost considered it illegal! Even if I wore them once and they broke (which in all fairness they did not!) I wouldn't have been complaining.

I am in love with my vintage Louis Vuitton 'clutch' which has been passed down from my Momma. Although the strap has broke, which has attempted to be fixed numerous times but to no avail, I think it looks just as effective as a clutch with the straps tucked in, I refuse to take them off completely as I am determined to get it back to its original state soon.

As for the rest of the outfit, unsurprisingly it is all Zara. Every time I try mix it up and visit elsewhere for staple pieces (namely Topshop) nothing inspires me and I run hurriedly back to Zara with open arms begging for forgiveness. For the past couple of years they just consistently get it right and although its high street, as long as you mix the pieces up with unique twists you are sure to not look like the rest of them, darling!

Caps Are Back

So I've decided that the cap is back. No more snapbacks, beanies or trilbies. Just straight forward, 90's Saved by the Bell style caps. Ideally worn back to front as it really shows off your laid back, I can do whatever I like attitude. I have some examples of an individual who pulls it off quite perfectly. He likes his hat, so please no negative comments.

As you can see we all appreciated the hat....

Its best bought in a pastel shade branded with 'Boizelona', available from any street vendor in Barcelona. Preferably the cheaper the better!!

Barcelona Blues

I am pretty sure this space is limitless, but I am one hundred percent sure that wouldn't even be enough to sum up in words how amazing our trip to Barcelona was. You know you're holiday was incredible when being back has you appreciating the holiday just as much as when you were there. Often its when you return that you realise how much fun you had but I think its safe to say all of us were the happiest little babies in Barcelona for Off Sonar festival last week, from start to finish. It may have taken a couple of us 48 hours, a spontaneous trip to Dusseldorf and a large amount of camels to land in Barcelona (the damn French-never having baguettes or garlic again!!!!) but we most definitely made up for the lost 24 hours. So much so I am not even going to try and summarise it here, I think its best left to the memories of all those in attendance, you know who you are. The parties, the company, the weather, the surroundings. Just so many good memories and I wouldn't have wanted to share it with anyone else.
Undoubtedly excited to try top it next year, I have no doubt we will.

This post is purely for fashion related purposes, obviously. Particularly the last one. I think girls pull these off far better than any of you boys!

Must Be Miss Guided

I spotted these from the most recent Miss Guided shoot done in Ibiza not so long ago and all I keep asking myself is when will this party ring swimsuit be available??! Along with the strawberry, fizzy blue and pink cola bottles and dolly mixture swimsuits. Swimsuits covered in party favours and sweet like things couldn't be more me so I am regularly checking the website to see when they will arrive (in between revision of course!!)
These photos also reminded me of how I lost my miss guided virginity a few weeks back and I was surprisingly impressed. As its hard to tell online the quality of the fabrics and with the prices being so reasonable I was questioning whether my order would be immediately returned. How wrong I could be! The basic tees and simple dresses most definitely won me over and even the tassel lace top which is going straight in my sonar suitcase was a winner!!

Pass Me My Yacht..

This editorial for Miss Vogue just screams summer to me, browsing through these today in work (I was doing research Lana I promise, see Sandro top above! ;)) just got me that little bit more excited for all thats happening in the next few weeks, predominantly exams, study and endless library sessions, soon to be OVER!!!! Four years of endless work and very little partying (honest!) are coming to an end this Wednesday and it seems like yesterday that I was only just choosing my university. How time flies! But time for the next chapter and I couldn't be more ready. It should be incredibly daunting to know that for the first time in my life, my future is not mapped out for me; school, A levels and University all give you that little bit of structure to hold on to one way or another and as incredible as it has been, I am looking forward to the unknown. My self reassurance of this looming reality, is in itself my safety blanket, but I have convinced myself that the more I tell myself it the more it is likely to come true (Laws of Attraction and what not, thank you Secret). Not knowing whats next for us should be exciting; the endless opportunities and unlimited freedom to do exactly what it is you want to do, yet we seem to cloud this freedom with anxiety and nerves. Dont! The world really is your oyster, so whatever it is you want to do, don't hesitate, and for those that don't know, embrace it. You have the rest of your life to figure it all out, as long as you're having fun doing it!
I didn't intend for this post to become such a 'motivator' but somehow the majority of my posts do just that, and with this yacht and open sea as its backdrop, how could I not?
Good luck to everybody graduating this year and those who have made my four years so incredibly special!!
Now I just have to figure out how to get myself one of these?
