Speedy Revival

So I was excited to see that the new IT bag of the season is soon to be the Speedy Bandouliere. My 16th birthday present was in fact the original Speedy30 however after an expensive summer and a bank balance well below 0 I deliberated for a long long time as to whether I should sell it. SO happy now that I managed to cut back in other ways so that I can enjoy this speedy revival myself without forking out the £700 for the 'new' design (basically the original + strap). That being said I still cannot get my head around the sudden surge in LV price tags recently, compared to 4 or 5 years ago.

More importantly although I may not have to part ways with £700, the strap alone will set me back £155!!?? A little excessive for a simple leather strap surely?
Not convinced of LV's marketing methods yet, claiming the new Speedy Bandouliere is nothing like its previous counterpart and the strap that comes with this is miles ahead of those you can buy individually? Nice try but a leather strap from the market would surely do the same job?

Patricia Bonaldi

I seem to be obsessed with all things jeweled at the moment. Patricia Bonaldi is no exception, unfortunately the fact her Brazilian pieces are only stocked in Harrods suggests I may not be purchasing them too soon. She is a Brazilian designer who has a range of jeweled, multi coloured shorts which remind me of All Saints on a bright day. As much as I love their seasonal bejeweled pieces I am a fan of Patricia's brighter counterparts. The dresses remind me of Balmain's most recent season with the structured lace, beading and long sleeved delightfulness.

Bonaldi has just recently launched a disco inspired line Pat Bo. Checking this out as we speak (or type/read :))

Tata Naka

I am a sucker for embellishments and lace and so when I heard about London based brand Tata Naka launching their own T-Shirt range designed solely around these two things I couldn't help but get excited. The range will be exclusive to Net-A-Porter and is launching under the name TNTees. The eagerly anticipated collection will be available from November and with prices starting at £100, the chances of me getting my hands on one are ever the more likely (if I find a job and limit myself to one Starbucks a week, as opposed to my two a day!). I think this compromise will be totally worth it!

There's something so stunning about a simple, day to day item made in to something so special and personal.

Gypsy Junkies

Nearly 12 hours on campus is enough to make me search long and hard for a way to procrastinate. As always I found a distraction whilst searching blogs and came across this brand 'Gyspy Junkies'. It reminded me of summer days and more importantly Coachella.

I love the bohemian vibe with crochet, feathers and tie dye in abundance. If only English weather made it possible for us to wear this collection all day every day.

Closet Envy

Not only do I need to get an apartment with a wardrobe like this, but also the clothes to fill it. This is my all time favourite. Aimee Song's, from the blog Song of Style uses wine bottles for jewellery holders and a bookcase for her shoes, thats my kind of girl. Although its super organised it looks effortlessly chic. Inspiration for my next abode, unfortunately Spectrum doesn't come equipped with a Carrie Bradshaw size closet.
