Win £500 to Spend at Fashion Union

Fashion Union Competition

Hello lovelies!

Hope you are all having a fab week! I unfortunately seem to have found myself bed bound with a 24 hour migraine!! Anyone else suffer from these? Literally nothing will make it budge so I have spent the majority of the day snoozing - and also picking out my favourites from the Fashion Union website.
My friends at EtailPR have launched a competition for any of its bloggers to create a want list from everything on Fashion Union's site in an effort to win £500 to spend online!! Whats not to love! Particularly these 7 pieces I found which I have to have!!!
I am loving the icon tee and the PU skirt is an affordable alternative to one I had my eye on in work!! Not to mention the leopard pants, which for anyone who follows my Instagram will know, animal print is quickly becoming my favourite!!
Fashion Union is a recent addition to my shopping bookmarks but its perfect for every day basics and their new in jumpers are perfect for this cold, Manchester weather! Hows the rest of the world? Luckily sunnier days seem to be ahead for the rest of England it seems! Just in time for my trip to London this weekend for the Vodafone London Fashion Weekend!! I am sooo excited to go down and be a part of the action at Somerset house! Are any of you guys going??

If you want a chance to win £500 to spend at Fashion Union, all you have to do is follow this link and create a wish list like mine!

Happy Window Shopping!!!

NYFW Round Up - Edition 3

Monique Lhuillier

Hello beauties!
The list just keeps on getting longer but I promise this is my last round up of all my favourites NYFW!! I am determined to keep London, Paris and Milan down to one post each!! Not quite sure how likely this will be though!?

Vera Wang
Floral embellishments were key here!! Majority of the collection was sport inspired I felt which although not my first choice, the embellishments and two toned pieces definitely were! Loving the sheerness of the fabrics too!!

3.1 Phillip Lim
A favourite with bloggers such as Rumi Neely and Sincerely Jules, (so naturally had to include him), Phillip Lim delivered once again!! I love his use of tassels, uniquely shaded animal prints and olive green tones! Love this collection and will definitely be on the look out for similar pieces in Zara, they imitate his pieces every season, and rightly so!

Sachin and Babi
Cut outs are clearly back! I love the lengths of these skirts, eagerly anticipating their many varieties come spring summer 2014!!

Dennis Basso
What drew me to this was all the coloured alligator crops. Who wouldnt be?

Adam Lippes
Lippes is new on my radar but long overdue! This feminine collection again reminds me of all things Zara, what I would call its affordable counterpart. I love the python bandeaus and the elegant animal print coat!

Philosophy
Centre stage at Philosophy was pastels and endless summer floating fabrics. Sold.

Sass & Bide
Sass and Bide have always been a favourite one to watch and I love their use of stitched detail florals which give a vintage feel to their collection. The combination of nude layering and gold accents remind of Ancient Greece and I like it.

On to the next city! & of course the best!! LONDON!!!

Remember to #followback and share the love!!

Want List - Whistles Gilet

So here I am again, adding another thing to my wish list!! But working in retail does this to you and as tormenting as it is I wouldnt change it for the world as I love finding inspiring items daily!!!
This fur gilet from Whistles worn amazingly by Sandra Hagelstam of 5 Inch and Up is exclusive to Selfridges and for £495 I most likely wont be investing anytime soon however its incredible!!! And when I say it is exclusive it really is because I searched and scoured the web for a photo of this gilet on its own to show you guys and I just cant seem to find one anywhere!!! What makes me even more jealous is Sandra most likely will have been gifted this!!! Lucky lucky girl!!! Side note - Whistles has really delivered this Autumn/Winter and more importantly I cannot wait to check out their showing at LFW later over a takeout and some well deserved XFactor viewing! Seriously, when did this become my Saturday night of choice?
So if you are ever in a Selfridges which stocks Whistles please just go try this on to appreciate its incredibleness. It is an entire sheepskin fur gilet which is perfect on its own or layered over leather jackets or in this case under a super warm, on trend, puffer jacket!!
I have to be honest I was surprised to see this puffer jacket trend hang around however its an easy, wearable and incredibly useful item to have in your wardrobe this winter. In previous years I would have wrote this off as it simply being a ski necessity (which I luckily did invest in when I lived in Vancouver and Whistler trips were frequent) but nowadays it seems everyone is wearing them!! Even my favourite icon Olivia Palermo!

What do you guys think?? Yey or ney?

What I Am Coveting This Week

What I Am CovetingThis Week

Hello lovelies!!!

My focus for this week once again seems to be leather, and leopard, oh and fur. I just cant seem to get enough of it and nor do I ever want to!!!

New Look-Trousers
I finally found (this makes me sound like Ive been hiding under a rock for months) - should I say finally went and looked for, a pair of affordable leather look leggings! As much as I would love to part with £600 for the Maje specials I have my eye on in work, booking a holiday and paying off my overdraft are just not making this a feasible option! The pair I purchased were from H&M and for £14.99 I really couldnt help but skip out of the shop with my little red bag (no but really!). Now my radar is well and truly locked on leather I found the above pair in New Look, part of the Kelly Brook range, for a mere £27.99! I have to admit these were a great imitation leather and they're definitely my next one of many leather investments.

Topshop Fur Gilet
I've had my eye on this for months and I am one million percent purchasing it for next weekends trip to Vodafones London Fashion Weekend which the boyfriend kindly got me as a birthday gift back in July - I could waffle on about my uncontrollable excitement for this (and how UNexciting Tom is likely to find it) but I'll save that for the post itself where I will provide endless photos of the weekend! But anywho - as I was saying, the colour is incredible and I just have to have this furriness in my life!

Zara-Skirt/Shirt
I think its safe to say Zara is most likely going to crop up in all of my coveting posts! It would be rude to ever leave it out and so this week I am loving check-and of course leather! For us Manchester folk, the Zara in the city centre has been closed for, in my eyes, far too long now as its being refurbished and although its being incredibly kind to my bank balance, my lack of daily window shops are sending me into a mild state of depression so I popped into the Trafford Centre to get my fix and found these two delectable pieces!

Kurt Geiger-Shoes
I have to have these shoes! What more can I say! I have had my eye on these for a few months and trying them on on my lunch break was most definitely NOT my wisest move!!! At £290 I think I will be staring at them from afar for a while, but as soon as my purse gives up the fight you guys will be the first to know!!

Maybelline - Baby Lips
I am a HUGE Tanya Burr fan!!! Her beauty videos are like a ten minute spurt of rainbows and sunshine! As hippy as that sounded she really is quite possibly the happiest blogger on earth!!! She has been recommending these for a long time now and the next time I am in Boots I am going to purchase and see what all the fuss is about. Theres something about the name of these lip balms which I just love!! Who doesn't want baby smooth lips?! Especially in the upcoming winter months.

Sandro-Bag
Shock Sandro is included here!! I really do apologise if my Sandro incessant posts are too much for you all but working around all the gorgeous things every day make it difficult for me to ignore!! This bag just came in at work and along with the leopard clutch (which I promise to show you all soon!!) I just cant find a single reason why not to get them?

Do you not agree??
Leave your comments below!!
